Xbox 360

This month instead of reviewing a game, I'm going to review a console. THE XBOX 360!!!

The XBOX 360 has hit shelves in both North America and Japan and is doing well right now in the marketplace. How it will fare in the future when demand is lower and people come to realize the systems full potential will become clear and maybe even a bit sour. Here are a few pros and cons.

XBOX Live

Pros - Nothing compares even close on any gaming system including PC. The great new additions that allow downloadable content to updates and trailers/demos and the incredibly addictive points system. Everything that we wanted on an xbox has come to the 360 with a customizable interface to and great online web-based support to boot. I see incredible potential in this.

Cons - Well, it can be copied now that the competition has seen it, but all in all is that really such a con for us.

Games

Pros - Incredible graphical resolution is abound in the next generation of gaming.

Cons - That's about it, just graphics, and even in sports games the content has been removed to just come out on time...too bad. Plus there is hardly a visible difference on standard tv's or some HDTV's for that matter. But yeah jaggies and bad textures are still abound. Stuff that were supposed to never again exist. Oh and plus the games are pretty much just play like previous generation games, you may as well be playing madden on PS2 for all I care.

System

Pros - It looks really nice, at least a cooler look than both the Revolution and the PS3. Got USB ports for added peripherals, so that's good.

Cons - You have to deal with noise from two different fans, which doesn't help if you don't wear headphones like I do. Or how the power brick is bulky, like a third the size of the system, so space-wise it can be a burden, but not too horribly. Just give it space, well ventilated and you'll do just fine and be playing rehashes till forever.

So there is more to be said but I'll leave with that, the competetion knows what the system can do, what its benefits are and can capitalize on them if they have any sence.

Game Review

1 - The creator needs a hard kick in the balls.

2.0 - 2.9 - Another kick, but not as hard.

3.0 - 3.9 - The game sucks.

4.0 - 4.9 - The game is descant.

5.0 - 5.9 - The game is ok.

6.0 - 6.9 - The game is good.

7.0 - 7.9 - The game is great.

8.0 - 8.9 - The game is sweet.

9.0 - 9.9 - The game is heavenly.

10 - I bow down to the creator, he is God
